Hello, I am Molly.
I do hope you have had a good look at S A R A s main site before looking here
as that is how my new Mam and Dad found me and that is where a lot of my friends can be found on the Adoption Lists and the Sponsor Lists. I was very lucky ( and so were they! ) when they found me as they took me home where I found a big step-sister                                                                      a house with a nice garden and just over the road a large green belt to explore.
When Mam and Dad have time they help at S A R A  by collecting goods for the Shop at Guisborough
and table top sales and also work at the Farm near Redcar which is going to be a Sanctuary for
waifs and strays like what I was. They took me up to the Farm today because the Gazette were
taking photos where the first new Kennel Block is being built and we hope people will help by
Sponsoring the cost of the building work. It will cost a lot of money I am told but every animal isn't as
lucky as me and they may need a home until they find a new Mam and Dad. The Northern Echo came to see us yesterday and also took photos, I could become a bit of a celebrity, will have to practice my paw print.
Me and My Sister Tansy
After they spotted me on the Web Site they rang the SARA
Help Line 01287 201005 week day mornings and were told about the Meetings on the first Saturday of the month at the
Saltburn Band Stand 10 am - 12 am where all the dogs can be seen and taken for a walk. They told me that they couldn't wait to see me and they even brought their Grandchildren with them.

Naturally everyone loved me, they couldnet resist all my colours especially my different coloured eyes. I am a Blue Merle Collie Cross with possibly a Jack Russell of course I don't remember him I am just a rescued stray found on the streets. My Step Sister is a Thorough Bread and sometimes a bit aloof but is 10 yrs old so I take that into account when she doesn't want to play because I am a bit bouncey I have heard them say. My Mam and Dad say I am the best
dog they have ever had for being house trained, that must be due to SARA Foster carers.

I have been in Middlesbrough town centre collecting for SARA as they need lots of money to look after the animals and to repair the Farm Refuge. My Dad says he likes collecting best as the people we meet are really wonderful. All kinds of
people put money in the boxes. You just can't judge who might put money in or how much and most love a lick from me.

LATEST NEWS!
Lovely picture of me in the Gazette Tues 25th March, Oh! and my Dads on as well.
Well Mam and Dad left my big sister and me last night to go to Saltburn Golf Club on a Fund Raiser which I am told
is a way of getting money to help all the dogs, cats and building work. They weren't late as they don't like leaving us too long and they wanted to be up early as they were going to pick up our new step sister who is only a pup who is just eight weeks old and going to be called Daisy. Since it was Emilly's Birthday her and Gemma, our Mam and Dads Granchildren, they all went to collect her.

They said they will still love me and Tansy and I am sure they will as we can go out for walks and Daisy can't yet.  Molly
Dad said since we now have an adition to the family we should have some new photos so we will try and sit still taken on 14/04/2008
Our new Sister DAISY  little isn't she.

Big Sister TANSY

These two pictures of Daisy have been sneaked on while I was in Middlesbrough with Dad collecting for SARA in the freezing cold wind. Still I got plenty of cuddles and my Dad got one as well when he said he was cold,    we like collecting !!

Dads been in London wherever that is and also in Guisborough,I went with him there, don't know where that is either, collecting money, but Daisy and I have been having fun in the sun.
Hi Everyone, have you missed me? Sorry I haven't been here for a while but if you must know I am not allowed to connect up the electric supply, Dad says it is dangerous.

Everyone at SARA has been very busy and I am told there have been a number of dogs brought in who were due to have pups which are now being cared for and also some from other centres that are full. It is a very busy time for all centres and unfortunately there is not always room and only the most urgent cases can be taken in which is why our new kennel block is top priority so we don't have to pay kennels to look after those we can't accomodate.
SOME OF THE LATEST PUPS SAVED BY SARA
Dad was at the FARM SANCTUARY Friday night helping to put up a Markeee?? a Big Tent, and some smaller ones for the weekend as we were hosting Wilton Dog Club Agility Competition on Saturday and we had our Sponsored Dog Walk on Sunday. I did the walk with my big sister Tansy and my little sister Daisy we were all on leads with Emily and Gemma our Dads Grand children who got a Certificate and some Dog treats for us.
Dad said EVERYONE was very pleased with the weekend there was such a good atmosphere, I only know everyone was happy and the food was great, it must have been as I didn't even get any left overs.
Dad said we made money for the Sanctuary but the atmosphere was worth more than the money as everyone was happy , all working together and helping oneanother and all the visitors had a great time and great food.

Fri 11/07/08 We went to Guisborough yesterday my Dad and me, we were going to take Mam and Daisy but the weather didn't look good so just Dad and me went. I think Dad put Mam off so he could talk to the ladies more. Anyway the weather stayed fine and the very nice people in Guisborough came to see me and loved me and put money in our tin. They are very interested in what SARA are doing so we showed them photos and told them about the Sposor Dogs Show on 26th July when they can come up to the Foxrush Farm Refuge to see the Sponsor Dogs and what we have done so far.
One lovely man who had a look right through the Photo Album had put mony in the tin, went and did more shopping , came back put more money in, went off and then came back with a big bundle of Dog Chews but I had just had my dinner so Dad said I had to wait a bit. Wonderful people come to see me and there are a lot of them about all wanting to help SARA.
Bye for now, need my rest, collecting again tomorrow at Saltburn and then I will be at The Fun Dog Show on Sunday with big Sister Tansy and little Sister Daisy, Dad calls her The Terrorist. Hope to see you soon Daisy
Dad has messed up my web pages so if you have seen an article before about the Rabbit Hotel this is a replacement as it is gone and can't be found, I will have to learn how to use the computer myself he's useless.
Anyway a while ago when he took a Rabbit to Maureens Rabbit Hotel he said he would take her to the Farm
so the other day he did and in her words she was Gobsmacked or something, I don't know what that means but she thought it was wonderful, I know what that means because that is what I am.
She even saw a Deer with its young one which she had never seen before. While he was there he took photos of the lovely Hutches and the diferent areas of the garden. Maureen is a wonderful lady who always has time for her Rabbits and for people, Dad really likes her.

SPONSOR DOG DAY 26 JULY 2008

Our Dad took us all up to the Farm Sanctuary on Saturday so we could meet a lot of the dogs that are cared for by our carers because they need very special care and lovely people sponsor them by paying money at regular intervals.
We saw a favourite called Barnie and a lot more and also some very strange people who I would not like to meet on a dark night. Dad said they were Trekies or something like that and a lot of children realy liked them, I prefer Dads Grandchildren who really love us all.
Daisy won the musical dog bed and the egg and spoon race with Emily, I suppose Emily carried the egg.

Here are some pictures.

AUCTION DAY 16th AUG 2008
Sorry I didn't go to the Auction as Dad had to go very early and come back late as there is always a lot to do and he couldn't come back for us so I stayed with Tansy and Daisy and helped Mam with the house work!!!.
Dad said it was a very good day with lots of people looking round and taking the guided tours so they could see what they were paying for when they give us donations. As usual the food was excellent he said, he didn't bring any doggy bags home though, and the special Birthday cakes were great as you can see on the photos.
